Field Trips
Twice a year, in the Spring and Fall, SPC members arrange field trips to locations within easy reach of the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area. Information about these trips will be in the monthly newsletter and posted on this site.

April 20-23 |
Our Spring Field Trip will be to Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, and Georgetown, South Carolina. The hotel is the Hampton Inn (512 Courtfield Dr, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). Drive time is about 3 1/2 hours. Rate is $75 plus 10% tax or $82.50 per night. The deadline to register and receive this field trip rate is April 6th, but rate will be honored if rooms are available after the deadline. Call 843-651-6687 and mention that you are with the Sandhills Photography Club.

June 5, 9-11am |
We will have a scavenger hunt from April 12th through May 27th, 2010. Plenty of time to hunt for images during different days under a variety of lighting conditions. The list of subjects will be handed out during the April 12th club meeting and added to this site thereafter.
We will then hold a workshop on June 5th from 9am-11am in the Burlingame Room at the SCC Gardens. Deadline for submitting pictures for the workshop is Friday, May 28th at 11:59pm.
