Workshop on Tuesday, May 12 - “Crafting Award Winning Images” by Don Brown from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
Overview: Building skills necessary to convert initial camera capture into Award Winning Images in a 6 hour workshop. The workshop format is a mixture of lecture and hands-on editing.

Requirements: Attendees should have latest versions of Lightroom, Photoshop on their laptops and images to be post processed. Brown will also show examples of On1 and Luminar and Topaz, especially in cases where he believes these programs have implemented more usable tools than the Adobe standards.
Cost and Location: $ 80 ($83 if using PayPal) for SPC member and $100 for non-member ($103 if using PayPal), lunch is not included. Workshop will take place at the Weymouth Woods Nature Preserve in Southern Pines.

Other Workshops Planned for 2020:
Street Photography Team Challenge:
This workshop and outing will start on Saturday, March 14, at the SCC Gardens Visitors Center. Workshop participants will be exposed to the legal constraints of “street shooting’, camera settings and strategies for effective street photography. Workshop participants will
then be divided into three teams and given assignments for street photography within Moore County. Subsequently each team will develop a slideshow for a showing at a dinner meeting on Saturday, March 28. Details for this workshop will be forthcomingduring the last week of January.
Workshops in Planning Stages
Flash Photography: Indoor and Outside: This workshop will take place on Tuesday, November 10, and will be led by Brian Osborne.
Tier 1 Roundtable: This roundtable workshop will provide an opportunity for Tier 1 members to have their photos discussed by their peers and senior members of the club. This program will take place early evening on June 16, 2020
File Management Workshop: This workshop will help you preserve your images by covering three phases of file management: 1. backup system; 2. image downloading; and, 3. image location and retrieval. This program will take place on the morning of September 16, 2020.
